Healthy Dinner Recipes - Shrimp and Avocado Salad
Ingredients:200 grams of romaine lettuce washed and disinfected
150 grams of cooked peeled shrimp.
1 tomato ripe large (tomato)
1/4 onion
1 avocado
2 lemons (juice)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 sprig of chopped basil or a teaspoon of herbs
Salt to taste
preparation:
Drain the lettuce and cut into stripes or small pieces.
Cut the tomatoes in half, and each half in half again and so. You should have 8 pieces, add salt.
Peel the avocado and cut it into thin strips.
Mix in a salad bowl lettuce, tomato, onion, shrimp and avocado.
To prepare the dressing, in a small pot with lid (one of Gerber doing great), mix the juice of 2 lemons, olive oil, minced garlic and chopped basil or herbs. Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
Finally, add the dressing to the salad, making sure the dressing not take just over.
TIPS:
To make your salad look better, save a little of each ingredient to decorate above.
To remove excess water from lettuce, you can press it with a paper towel.
Remember that you need to cook the shrimp to a boil in a pot of water and a pinch of salt, cook until 5 to 10 minutes depending on their size. It is important that once you take them out of the boiling water, submerge in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
