Macaroni and Cheese dinner recipes

ingredients

· 1 ½ cup cooked carrots, mashed
· 2 cups milk
· ½ cup of vegetable broth
· 375 g macaroni
· ½ cup green onion, chopped
· 1 clove garlic, crushed
· ¼ cup butter
· ¼ cup flour
· 1/4 c. teaspoon ground nutmeg
· 1 tsp. Tea pepper (optional)
· 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
· 2 cups sharp cheddar, grated
· ½ cup of bread crumbs
· Salt and pepper
· Paprika

preparation

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water

In a saucepan, soften the green onion and garlic in butter. Add flour and mix. Add the vegetable stock and milk gradually, stirring constantly with a whisk. Bring to boil. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Add Swiss cheese and carrot puree, salt, pepper, nutmeg, pepper
, and macaroni, and mix together.

Pour into a baking dish
then sprinkle with cheddar cheese, paprika, and bread crumbs.

Bake at 350 ° F until cheese is melted (about 10 minutes) and then finish cooking grill (or broil) until the top is golden.
